Chateau Le Bourg is a fourteenth century property sitting in 1.45 hectares of land around one hour from Bordeaux in south east France.
The property has a classic medieval stone chateau look with large amounts of space, exposed beams and thick solid stone walls, there are four large ensuite bedrooms as well as a gym, library and an office. The chateau prize will also include the whole contents of the property worth €70,000. Outside there is a jacuzzi and a large terrace looking over the secluded grounds and nearby lakes. Located about an hour from Bordeaux airport the chateau is in a beautiful part of France within reach of the coast and mountains.
The competition is run under French gambling laws which like the UK require an element of skill in order for it to quality as a competition rather than a lottery. In this case entrants have to guess the number of beans in a jar. There are five cash runners-up prizes and 5% of all sales will be donated to a French cancer charity.
